- Some big names have written and composed songs for the Apple TV+ show.
I was today years old when I found out.
Apple TV+ has some big names in its shows and movies but did you know that animated musical Central Park has some equally huge stars involved? Neither did I, but it turns out that the likes of Cyndi Lauper and Aimee Mann have credits for their music.
As the folks at Screen Rant point out, Lauper and Mann are just some of the big names involved — Meghan Trainor is another.
Trainor's bubbly pop is present in the season 1 duet "I'm in a Perfect Relationship," which showcases Molly and Brendan's burgeoning relationship via romantic text messages.
Oh, and then there's They Might Be Giants.
In the season 2 episode "Mother's Daze," TMBG wrote the song "Pour Poor Me Please," an ode to the charitable qualities of Lionel the bartender, who helps his patrons by lending them his pants and letting them call him "Dad."
Amazing. You can check out the full Screen Rant report for more examples of huge stars working on a show that many of us have overlooked. Maybe it's time we fixed that!
