Pixelmator Pro has a new update in the App Store and it's one that you won't want to miss out on. A free download for existing users, the Pixelmator Pro 2.1 update adds support for a new crop tool powered by machine learning, Quick Fill, and more.

The crop tool as a whole has been reworked to make use of machine learning, making it easier to crop photos so they look just the way you want them to, 7 new photographic overlays are also part of the refresh.

• The Crop tool has been redesigned and now features an ML Crop button that provides suggestions for how you could crop your >- photos to make them more eye-catching.
• The Crop tool will now be much faster with large documents that contain many layers.
• New perspective correction sliders will let you adjust the perspective of images right in the Crop tool.
• The Crop tool now features 7 photographic overlays, such as Rule of Thirds, Golden Ratio, and Golden Spiral.

Pixelmator Pro also gains a new Quick Fill feature that allows users to fill images, shapes, and text layers with a color "using the magic of drag and drop." Just drag from any color well and drop it onto an image to have the fill take place
