Apple Watch quick-reply features are coming to Outlook on iPhone

What you need to know

  • Microsoft is testing new Outlook features including improved Apple Watch support.
  • Users will be able to quickly reply to email using suggested replies and more.

No word on when it'll be available, though.

Microsoft is currently testing an updated Outlook app for iPhone that also includes support for quickly replying to email from an Apple Watch.

Currently available to TestFlight beta testers, the update will likely include multiple other improvements – but it's the new Apple Watch feature that Microsoft is particularly keen to get users to test out. Users can reply using a canned response, dictation, or scribble.

There's currently no indication as to when we can expect this update to be made available via the App Store and to everyone, however.

Microsoft is also working on adding Floor Plans for workspace bookings right from within Outlook, too.

Add floor plans to your reserved workspaces so users can easily see where a workspace is located. To add floor plans, in the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Answers, and then select Floor plans.
