Every month, the NPD group shares data on various gaming industry publishers, as well as console and software sales in the U.S. According to the Nov. 2021 NPD chart, as shared by analyst Mat Piscatella, the Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console for Nov. 2021, in both dollars and units. This means the Nintendo Switch has been the best-selling console in units for 35 of the last 36 months.
According to BusinessWire, the combined sales of every Nintendo Switch model, including the Nintendo Switch OLED which launched in Oct. 2021, reached 1.13 million units sold.
