Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the company will "be donating to support relief efforts on the ground" following the recent devastating weather in the South and Midwest.
More than 100 people are thought to have died after tornadoes ripped through Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. While there is still hope that more people will be found, no survivors have been discovered since Saturday morning.
While Apple nor Cook have said how much the company will be handing over, the company is normally one of the first to dig deep when communities need assistance. Floods, hurricanes, and other weather-related disasters have seen Apple provide funds in the past.

President Joe Biden has declared "major federal disaster in Kentucky and ordered federal aid to be made available to the hardest-hit areas," according to the BBC.
Anyone who wishes to help can donate via the "Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund", a fund set up by Governor Beshear.
Governor Beshear has established the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund to assist those impacted by the tornados and the severe weather system on December 11, 2021.
All donations to the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund are tax-deductible and donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes after donating.
