What you need to know
- You can now use Apple Pay when you make a purchase on the eBay website.
- Previously, Apple Pay was only available when paying via the iPhone and iPad apps.
It's now easy to pay than ever.
Anyone shopping on the eBay website can now use Apple Pay to pay for their stuff, marking the first time that's been possible. Until now, Apple Pay has only been available to those paying via the iPhone and iPad apps.
First spied by Appleosophy, the move comes as eBay continues its move away from using PayPal and towards other payment options. As the original report also notes, anyone paying using an Apple Card will also get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make on eBay.
Apple Card is great, right? But it's at its best when you find a credit card to pair with Apple Card to make the most of deals and rates.
Whether you're a frequent eBay shopper or someone who only pops over there ever so often so they can bag a bargain, support for Apple Pay is very welcome indeed. That being said, sometimes making it too easy for us to spend money isn't the best thing for us, is it?!
Paying for items using Apple Pay, both online and in the physical world, is undoubtedly the best way to go. It's the safest as well, removing the need to hand any card or details over to third parties.
