New Pokémon Snap has been in players' hands for some time now but there'll soon be more to explore. On Thursday, the official Pokémon Twitter account announced a free content update for New Pokémon Snap is coming on August 3, 2021. You can take a look at what to expect in the update below:

This update is fairly comprehensive for a free update, bringing three big new areas for players to explore. The list of Pokémon in New Pokémon Snap will also be growing, so if you've already snapped stellar shots of the 217 cutesy critters in the game, there'll be 20 more for you to photograph.
This free update should help prop up one best Nintendo Switch games of 2021, tiding players over as the wait for future titles continue.

Explore the Lental Region as you ride along a cart and take pictures of over 200 different Pokémon. As you level up, more creatures will appear and will be more likely to strike different poses. If you snap an excellent pic, you can share it with others online.
