A new app for Apple Watch from Arccos lets golfers track their shots from their wrist and even has an AI rangefinder.

In a press release the company stated:

Arccos, the pioneer of big data and artificial intelligence for golf, today announced the official launch of its new app for Apple Watch, which allows Arccos Caddie players to record all of their shot data and access the game's first A.I. rangefinder without having to carry a smartphone in play.

The app, which was in beta and has now been optimized for Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE, brings longer battery life, AI rangefinder, caddie club recommendations, shot detection, and more.

Arccos President and COO, Steve Obsitnik said "our goal is to give every golfer the freedom to 'play the game your way,' and this latest release for Apple Watch is a significant step in that direction. Along with the incredibly successful Arccos Caddie Link wearable, it allows players to harness the power of their on-course data to play smarter and shoot lower scores without having to carry a phone in their pocket."

Arccos' Apple Watch app, along with its Caddie range which includes smart grips and sensors, are used around the world to help golfers improve their game. The company says that in 2020 its members improved their handicap by 5.02 strokes on average thanks to its gear.
