After their announcement last week the new Beats Studio Buds are now available to buy. You can walk into most Apple Stores in the United States and Canada and walk out with a pair right now, while next-day delivery is also available at the online Apple Store depending on your location.
The new earbuds offer some of what AirPods Pro offer, but not all. Active noise cancelation and Transparency mode are included and you get a 24-hour charge when using the case. There's USB-C instead of Lightning and three colors to choose from. So far, so good.
But things go downhill when you notice there is no Apple W1 or H1 chip inside, so no instant device switching like Apple's own earbuds. Still, priced at $149, these things have a lot going for them.
